How to Add Any Google Font to Random Text

  1. Download & activate WordPress plugin called Google Easy Fonts.
  2. Highlight the text you wish to change.
  3. In WordPress Dashboard click Settings > Google Fonts.
  4. With Edit Font Controls tab open, give your control a name.
  5. Click Create Font Control
  6. Under Add CSS Selectors, type in a descriptive word describing what random text you want changed.
  7. Click Save Font Control.
  8. That created a new message just below those three tabs.  Click Customizer in that new message.
  9. Then click Typography > Theme Typography.
  10. Click Edit Font.
  11. Click Font Family.
