Twitter image times 10

twitter imageI’ve started using a creative way to get up to 10 pictures on a single Twitter post.  I will occasionally have my tweet link to a SlideShare page. (See the SlideShare post at the bottom of this page.)

In the tweet shown here, I have an image that really makes people want to know what is going on.  Then the web link will sent people to my SlideShare presentation that has 10 images.

Imagine that you want to introduce four new products to the marketplace.  You can make an enticing SlideShare presentation of 10 or 15 slides.  After they see it, people will know the benefits of all four products and will know where to buy them.

You can even add clickable links taking the visitor to a webstore.

 Twitter Image dimensions

You do not want to see your logo or an image only partially show up.  If that happens to you, delete your tweet and add it again with the correct dimensions.

Here are the best Twitter dimensions:

  • Header image: 1500 pixels by 500 pixels
  • Profile image: 400 pixels by 400 pixels
  • Tweeted images 876 pixels by 438 pixels

A simpler way to get the perfectly sized image in a tweet is explained in the Photo Resizer post.  That way you do not have to worry about the Twitter image size in pixels.
