4 steps to creating a promotion pin to increase website traffic

1. Guinness record holders about dogs & website trafficYou want people to be repinning your pins 6 months down the road and giving you more website traffic.  So, it is absolutely necessary to have eye-catching photos or graphics that people will want to share (repin).  So, do some serious thinking deciding where you can find 3 or 4 pictures that relate to each other and relate to your website.
♦ In this example, we are promoting granite pet memorials from the LaserPhoto.ca website.
♦
The video
has a photo of a dog laser etched into a slab of granite.  So, we chose some memorable photos about dogs from the Guinness Book of World Records website.  (We made sure that we gave lots of credit to the Guinness people so that they would not mind us using the photos.)
2. We created a separate blog post about each of the 4 photos.
3. We created a Twitter post for each of those 4 blog posts.
4. We made sure that each blog post somehow promotes granite pet memorials.
Note that each blog post is either showing this Pinterest pin or else a video promoting a granite pet memorial.  The Pinterest pin indirectly promotes the granite pet memorials.
